Volunteering

Our purpose!
Activities of KICOBO
- Education and mentorship in schools, both primary and Secondary schools on effects of early
marriage, early pregnancy, Reproductive health and drug abuse - Carrying out fundraising campaigns to support girl child education through provision of Sanitary
Pads and other basic necessities to curb school dropout - Creating awareness on Water sanitation and hygiene
- Promoting women and children rights including Gender based violence, Child Labour, street
children rehabilitation and Checking human trafficking - Advocating for equality
- Advocacy on environmental conservation
- Carrying out empowerment programmes for youth, women and disabled groups
- Carrying out intensive Community mobilization, sensitization, training and counselling on
HIV/AIDS - Promotion of Nutrition-Sensitive Agriculture, Food security and Livelihoods
- Peace building and advocacy campaigns among the host and refugees in Kakuma and
Kalobeyei - Promotion of IGA and economic empowerment
- Carrying out research and documentation in various social issues affecting both refugee and
host community - Supporting churches both spiritually and developmentally
- Carrying out consultancy services
